A wreath that is slightly too small for a gable or a door surround looks like an afterthought, and it is the most common mistake on an otherwise good display. We size each piece against the actual opening during the estimate, so a two-story entry gets something proportioned to a two-story entry.
Garland on a column or railing takes the full force of weather for six weeks. Ours is secured at intervals rather than draped and hoped for, with the power routed inside the run so no cord is visible against the paintwork. Nothing is fixed in a way that marks the surface underneath.
If you already own wreaths you like, we will hang and light them as part of the install rather than insisting on ours. It is usually the cheapest line on a quote and it keeps pieces that mean something to the household in the display.
